Dan has the unusual combination of having a big personality and a heart of humility. His book, Virtual Integrity, was published in 2008. He has been a major encouragement to many as he travels and speaks on the subject of “surfing your values,” helping people to make sure their online activities match their offline values. Dan is the former Chief Information Security Officer for the State of Michigan and was responsible for safeguarding the computers of 55,000 state employees.
